I’m a sucker for a good pumpkin spice latte. When autumn rolls around and the leaves start turning vibrant colors, it becomes my morning drink of choice. But spending upwards of $5 for my local barista to make me one? No, thank you. After a friend turned me on to this recipe, I’m happy to say I’ve mastered the art of the at-home PSL. And lucky for you, I’m going to pass on the power to make your own with the help of BeFunky.
All you need is about 15 minutes and the following ingredients:
In a small saucepan, combine the water and the sugars. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
Once it’s boiling, reduce the heat to low and add all the rest of the ingredients. Stir constantly for five minutes, making sure the mixture doesn’t come to a boil.
Strain using a cheesecloth or fine metal strainer into a glass jar with an airtight lid. Then stick it in the refrigerator to cool.
Enjoy! Add a few tablespoons into your morning cup of joe or make yourself a fancy latte! Bonus points if you can get the latte art on point 😉
Curious about how I made the recipe ingredients graphic above? It’s so simple. All you need to do is take a picture of your ingredients before you start the recipe and upload it to the amazing BeFunky Graphic Designer.
From there you can edit the photo, add all the text you want, and drag the text boxes where you want them to go to get that perfect (and Pinterest-friendly) recipe shot.
BeFunky Tip: The duplicate button comes in handy when you’re wanting to keep the text properties (like font and font size) uniform.
